Acutally the employees do not get any comission whatsoever, and I am sorry that you had a negative experience. The company is much better with customer service now and it is policy that the toys be battery/charge-tested before they leave the store. I am sure that if you were to contact corporate they would give you a store credit. This toy is a gem, it is as powerful as the Hitachi and is not as loud.

After purchasing this item, it only worked about two times, I was told by the store manager there is an internal electrical problem where it connects to the wall charger, (that would have been nice to know BEFORE I bought it!) I was also told by an employee, at check-out, if I had any problems with it, to bring it back (odd, I thought) When I DID try to at least exchange it, I was told there was nothing they could do because I paid in cash, and didn't have the proof of purchase, (even though I was in their computer system, and they remembered me) I was out $99.95 plus tax. I didn't use this until a few weeks after buying it, so I lost the reciept, and when I did talk to the store manager if I could just exchange it, they told me they didn't sell it anymore..I bought it in the end of October, 2010, but anyone who reads this can plainly see they do still sell it. I feel I was lied to before I purchased it because I hesitated because of how expensive it is, (they get a lot of commission) and will never shop at the Olympia/Lacey location ever again. 3959 Martin Way E.
