The massage oils and creams we offer were selected specifically with the following characteristics:

1. They are designed for an effective all over body massage
2. They are vegetable or mineral based oils and creams
3. They will not get sticky on your skin
4. They are excellent weights for deep tissue massage.  They stay on the surface of the skin long enough to eliminate frequent reapplication.

Massage oils are topical preparations and intended for use on the outside of the body.  They are not to be used internally as a lubricant and will weaken the latex of a condom.  They are not flavored they are scented and not intended to be edible.  Ingestion will not harm you, but it won’t taste very good.

Some are ready to sue and others contain several oils which are beneficial to the skin and naturally separate and need to be shaken prior to use.

The average shelf life of an oil when properly stored at room temperature is five years.  Leaving the cap off an oil, will not hare the oil, but will cause the fragrance to escape.

Warming an oil in the microwave (on low for approximately 30 seconds) or in a plastic bowl of warm water (plastic holds heat longer than metal) is fine and recommended to take the chill off an oil before the massage.

FLAVORED WARMING BODY LOTIONS AND OILS

Flavored warming lotions and potions are much different from all over body massage oils.  All of the flavored warming lotions we carry have the following characteristics:

1. They are designed to be applies to spot areas of the body, like nipples, ear lobes, belly buttons, or small areas of large portions of skin.
2. They are vegetable oils or mineral based oils
3. They will get sticky on your skin
4. They are all edible and meant to be tasted
5. They will bring a warm feeling to the skin when you breathe on them

Flavored warming lotions and oils are topical preparations and intended for use on the outside of the body.  Some may be used internally as a lubricant.  If someone were to use them internally it would not harm them medically but since some are oil based preparations they are more difficult for the body to expel, especially in the female.

They are intended as “play lotions.”

This is why these lotions and oils are sticky.  Anything that is flavored contains sugar and therefore may leave a sticky residue.  Some are much less sticky than others.  This is dependent on the glycerin quality of the product.  Glycerin is the key ingredient to all of these products.  The higher the glycerin rate and the less sugar versus natural flavoring used to make the product, the less sticky it will be.

5. GLOW IN THE DARK BODY PAINTS ARE NOT EDIBLE AND ARE FOR EXTERNAL USE ONLY.

LOTION AND OIL KITS

We offer a wide variety of lotion and oil kits.  They contain a variety of flavored warming body lotions and oils, flavored body toppings and desserts, flavored gels and all over body massage oils.

These kits are a fun way for people to try a variety of products, nicely packaged in a ready-to-give as a fit kit.

Many of the kits we carry contain very small one or two use size samples.  The variety is there, but in some cases, the value of the size is not.  Educate yourselves on the size portions of the kits.  A sample size packet is the size of a one use product.  One or two ounce sizes are good for up to 5 uses.  Full retail 4 to 8 oz sizes are a better value to the customer who is looking for a good selection of products at a great value.
